VH1's "Celebrity Rehab 2" program has licensed Lynn Carey Saylor's anti-drunk driving song "I Wasn't A Friend", produced by Skip Saylor, for use in the show's opening sequence.  The show chronicles the struggles of several celebrities in a 21 day rehab program in Pasadena, California.

Mixer/producer Skip Saylor has been keeping busy at his San Fernando Valley area compound doing a variety of his own projects including mixing tracks for former Club Nouveau founding member Jay King's upcoming solo release on Classic Nuvo Records, mixing the Mack 10 produced theme song for Oxygen channel's 'Prime Time Love' starring Deion and Pilar Sanders and album mixing for Russian phenom Rock artist Katya's debut album. Saylor’s studio also continues to be sought after by noted engineers and mixers such as Toby Wright, who mixed the new 2008 Tantric album 'The End Begins' at the facility.

April 22, 2008 - The new TANTRIC record, "The End Begins" has been released and had its debut at number 91 on the Billboard album chart its first week out of the gate.  This album ROCKS and was mixed here at the studio.  A particular favorite song of ours from the album is "The One", which features Kevin Martin of Candlebox.  Click the album cover to hear clips of the entire record or visit

Noted Italian hard rock band LINEA 77 has recently completed recording and mixing of their new album with noted mixer/producer TOBY WRIGHT (Korn, Three Doors Down, Alice in Chains, Fear Factory, The Wallflowers, Black Sabbath) at our facility.  The resulting album is entitled "HORROR VACUI" and was released on February 8th, 2008 through Universal Music. Skip Saylor was a 2 time invited guest speaker at the Los Angeles Recording School in November 2007, where he shared some valuable insights on what it takes to become successful in the music industry. See this link for a page dedicated by the school to his appearance.

May 31, 2007: The Skip Saylor produced debut album "MUCH LOVE" by Auckland, NZ based band SPACIFIX wins BEST PACIFIC ALBUM OF THE YEAR at the New Zealand Pacific Music Awards show. The group also swept all 3 awards they were nominated for and Spacifix had the most nominations of any artist or group! Their other wins were for BEST PACIFIC SONG (for "GOTTA GET LIKE THIS", see the video on our VIDEOS PAGE) and BEST PACIFIC GROUP.

The Pacific Music Awards are given by the Recording Industry Association of New Zealand and is a national event. SPACIFIX will be honored for their best album win at the 2007 New Zealand Music Awards (NZ's equivalent of the GRAMMY AWARDS) in October.
